Routing lets you use a single shared email address while keeping teams focused.
Most growing teams start with one shared email (support@). As volume grows, they need specialisation. Billing queries need finance, technical bugs need engineering, sales enquiries need the sales team. But they don't want to create separate email addresses for everything.
Workspace routing solves this. Emails arrive at support@ and automatically route to the right board based on content. Finance sees billing cards, engineering sees bug reports, sales sees leads. Each team has their own workspace with custom columns, tags, and automation rules.
Routing rules are evaluated in order and can be layered. A VIP customer's billing email can match both the VIP rule (priority handling) and the billing rule (finance board). Use priority ordering to control which rule wins, or allow multiple rules to fire simultaneously.
All routing happens server-side, in real time. Emails are routed before notifications fire, so your team only gets alerted about emails on their board.
