How do I add Drag to Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add dragapp -e DRAG_API_KEY="your-api-key" -- npx -y @dragapp/mcp-server in your terminal, then start Claude Code. Drag’s 47 tools are then available in your sessions.
Do I need a Drag account?
Yes. The connector works on your team’s Drag boards, so you need a Drag account and an API key. Drag starts with a 7-day free trial, no card needed.
Will Claude Code send email without asking?
No. Claude Code asks before it runs a tool, including Drag’s send tools, unless you have allowed that tool. Every action shows up in Drag under your name.
Can I use Drag in the Claude app too?
Yes. In Claude, add the same server as a custom connector by URL, https://app.dragapp.com/mcp, with no config file.
