Setup
Connect it in about two minutes
Add the connector
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector. Name it Drag and paste https://app.dragapp.com/mcp as the URL. No config file, nothing to restart.
Sign in with Drag
Click Connect, then Sign in with Drag: enter your API key once, on Drag’s own page (find it in Drag → Settings → Integrations).
Start working
Drag’s tools appear in your conversations, and Claude asks before it acts on your inbox. Prefer a local config file? The npm package (@dragapp/mcp-server) still works for that route; the MCP docs cover it.

How do I add Drag to Claude?
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, click Add custom connector, and paste https://app.dragapp.com/mcp. Click Connect, then enter your API key once on Drag’s own page (Drag → Settings → Integrations). No config file and nothing to install.
Which Claude plans can use it?
Any Claude plan, including Free, which allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner has to enable custom connectors in the organization settings first.
Do I need a Drag account?
Yes. The connector works on your team’s Drag boards, so you need a Drag account and an API key. Drag starts with a 7-day free trial, no card needed.
Will Claude send email without asking?
No. Claude asks before it uses each tool, and you choose Allow once, Always allow or Deny. Keep sending on Allow once if you want to approve every message. Every action shows up in Drag under your name.
Does it work in Claude Code or Cursor too?
Yes. The same server runs there from a config file using the npm package (@dragapp/mcp-server). The MCP docs have the config for each tool.
